REGISTER a NEW STUD

New stud registrations are a one off $30 and $15 each year thereafter.

Before applying to register a stud make sure you have read through all current and historic studs to check the name has not been used. On the form below please rank your preferred names 1 to 3.

Why register a stud with the NZ Cavy Council? Any purebred Guinea Pig breeder intending to breed and show Cavies is required to have a registered stud.


Stud Registration Form

$30 Payment to be made to the NZ Cavy Council bank account 12-3136-0428640-00 at time of application using your name and STUD as a refference.


Once payment is confirmed a confirmation email will be sent and your stud added to the register.
